Getting mangabuddy on Your Device
We offer three ways to access mangabuddy on mobile: an Android APK you download and install directly, an iOS web app you can bookmark, and a responsive web version for any modern browser. None of these require an app store account or approval process, which means faster access and no gatekeepers between you and your account.

Common Installation Issues & How to Fix Them
If you see "Unknown app installer" or a certificate warning during Android installation, this is normal—APKs downloaded outside the Play Store trigger a security prompt. Simply confirm that you trust the source (mangabuddy.app) and continue. If installation fails partway through, your phone may not have enough free storage; delete some photos or videos and try again. For iOS, if the bookmark doesn't create a home-screen icon on the first try, repeat the process: open Safari, tap Share, and select "Add to Home Screen." If the app feels slow or crashes on launch, clear your browser cache (Safari > Settings > Clear History and Website Data) or reinstall the APK.
Data, Permissions & Account Security on Mobile
When you install mangabuddy on Android, the app requests permission to access your device storage (to cache game data and account history offline) and your network connection (to communicate with our servers). We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location. All network traffic between your phone and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS. When you deposit via mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, or a bank virtual account (local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking), your payment details never pass through our app—instead, you are redirected to your bank or e-wallet's secure login page, where you authenticate directly. After payment is confirmed, your account balance updates instantly.
